报告一:Lidar System and Applications
Absract:Lidar is a very useful tools in the fields of atmosphere environment monitoring, topographic survey andbathymetry. It can be used for low airspace security surveillance. Different application of lidar will be introduced in this presentation. The key technologies of lidar system will be also discussed.
报告二:Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector (SNSPD) and Applications
Abstract:The past decade has seen a dramatic increase in interest in new single-photon detector technologies. A major cause of this trend has undoubtedly been the push towards optical quantum information applications such as quantum key distribution and photon counting detection in infrared of single photon lidar and quantum lidar.
SNSPDs (Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector), compared with other single photon detectors, have higher sensitivity at telecommunications wavelength, faster response and low dark count noise.
In this presentation the mechanism of photodetection, the fabrication process, the characteristics and the applications of SNSPD will be described. The application of SNSPD with a particular focus on telecommunication wavelengths and eye-safe wavelengths (1.5 µm) photon counting.
